Why I Do What I Do
I'm Michael Carrara — I moved from Wendell, NC to Warrenton, NC in August 2025 and brought MNC Automotive and His Chosen Place both with me. I've been running the shop for years and legally established it in 2023. In 2020 I founded His Chosen Place as a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit that runs alongside the shop. They're two different businesses, but they share the same heart. Sometimes I'll take something off a customer's bill. Sometimes I'll do extra work at no charge. I may or may not say anything about it — I just do what I feel like I'm supposed to do in that moment. His Chosen Place is what makes that possible.

A Car Comes In
A customer brings their vehicle to MNC Automotive for service or repair
Michael Sees the Need
At his discretion, Michael identifies a customer who could use a hand — he may take something off the bill, do extra work at no charge, or simply act without saying a word
Grace in Action
At his discretion, Michael may discount the bill, do extra repairs at no charge, or quietly cover the cost — whatever he feels called to do in that moment
